Bootcamp and C-School

Hi everyone i have 2 questions. My first question is what happens after bootcamp, do you get to go home or to you go straight to A-school?
Second, how may differnt C_schools are there? any answer/ coments will help thanks.

I'm no expert,

There are many 'C' schools! I want to say hundreds of them, but I cannot verify that information. Suffice to say, there is a wide array of schools to choose from.

If you are not offered one at 'A' school, you can, after the completion of your first tour of duty (2-3 years) apply for one. See your Career Counselor or Chain of Command who will be able to help you apply for one, based upon your qualifications.
