SeaBee Billets.

When I recently checked in the command here in NMCSD I saw an HM2 in the hospital that had a FMF and SeaBee Pin. I am wondering how I can get a Seabee pin. I know you have to be stationed w/ the Seabeesanddo acertainPQS. Can somone please give me a more detailed description on how to get a Seabee Pin.

Are you looking for the details of the PQS? Here's a link to the PQS http://www.acb-1.navy.mil/scws.htm, you should be able to find out the information you seek. Upon completing the PQS you'll have to take a written and an oral exam. Pretty standard stuff when it comes to a Warfare Device.

Like you said you first have to be stationed with the Bee's.

Just to let you know being with the seabees isn't like being with the green. I was stationed in Gulfport, Ms after my C school. It was very different. I never deployed with them , but in CONUS it sucked. The bull dogs spoiled me. The saving grace was the off time and all the great fishing I was able to get in. One day a fellow corpsman I got up early went to the beach to get some live bait for fishing with a minnow seine. In about a bout a hour caught over 30 pounds of shrimp and about four dozen blue crab. Decided fishing could be another day. Filled a tub with ice made a beer run and made a few calls and had a bake that day. Something I learn from the corp . When a opportunity knocks adapt and overcome.

What about Coastal Warfare or even AngilCo? Any info on them comming from the Corps?
