Well the Bears are going to Miami. I realize that the only people in the Country rooting for us up here in the Polar North are our fans in this area. The rest of the Country was rooting for the Saints.

The Saints had a awesome year. I had been stationed there from 9 years (89-98). Saints Fans are true fans. Don't worry you will be back next year. You have a great QB and your Running backs are 2 of the best.

I know I'm late but I just wanted to write a quick blurb about the NFC championship game at Soldier Field 21 years ago. I was there. I taught Corps School and Senior Chief Pope from the admin office got 2 tickets for my wife. She gave them to me. What a woman, plus she can cook. The Rams came up from sunny So. Cal in their white uniforms and were outmatched from the start. What a thrill watching the '85 Bears in person. I had followed them all season on T.V. Sweetness, McMahon, Dent, and the rest. An NFL Films camera man caught me in a standing, arms raised type of pose and almost everytime they show clips from that game, you can see me cheeringfor the Bears. What a year then and what a year now. Go Bears!
