Hi, I have a son who did well in boot camp and stayed at the Great Lakes to attend Corpsman School ("A" school). He's struggling with the content and failed test "6". Now all he talks about is getting kicked out of the Navy. What happens to those who can't pass? Is there no other option for him? I tried to tell him to use his resources there, career counselor, etc. He seems to think that there is no choice for him. He seems to be in failure mode with no motivation to want to succeed.
Right after boot camp, I saw a completely changed person who talked of staying with the Navy forever - that was until he started school. He's more of a hands on type of a learner. I would hate to see this all come to an end.
Any advice would be appreciated.
