Hello, I haven't introduced myself yet, but I actually leave for my last MEPS appointment in 6 days, and in 7 days I will be starting my processing week @ bootcamp and I believe I was unintentionally misinformed by my recruiter. I'm 25 and joining the Navy reserves as an HMFM, I have a wife and we have a 1 year old daugter, one of the recruiters informed me that once I got to "a" school I would be allowed to leave to come home to see them. Now part of this couple simply be I misunderstood him, but from what I've been reading it seems that I would not be able to come home every other weekend, correct? If so that's okay it's just going to really piss off my wife since that's what she's thinking and I would like to learn now before I ship.
Thanks for the knowledge in advance!

Krazywithak well my understanding when my husband was in Corps School is that you have to get it approved to leave due to there buddy system for one and I thought you could only go a 300 mile raduis. My husband was at corps school about 2 yrs ago. So the worst is when you hit Corps school you will just have to ask.
