CHICAGO (AP) -- Chicago Bears football practice was delayed nearly two hours today after a player reported finding an unknown white powdery substance on the practice field. The Head coach immediately suspended practice while police and federal investigators were called to investigate.
After a complete analysis, FBI forensic experts determined that the white substance unknown to the players was the goal line. Practice resumed after special agents decided the team was unlikely to encounter the substance again...

Chief
I am from up there...that's the problem...do you know how long I waited for the Cubs to win the World Series...talk about the agony of defeat. I worked in Tennessee as a recruiter foran automotive school called UTIwhile Peyton Manning played for UT. I have followed his career since then. I am a big fan of his. He has a lot of character and has done well. Not thatme beingthe football genius had anything to do with me picking Indy.
GO COLTS
GO BEARS!!!!

In true nature I was the antagonist yesterday. I sat in a place filled with Peyton Manning supporters. Living in Tennessee it is easy to see why southerners are naturally stubborn. The guy's from Mississippi but because he played at UT, everyone around me was yelling go colts.
Now my hatred fro all things Orange (other than Hooters and the fruit) does not come from football, but rather women's basketball. The day I heard them talk crap about Connecticut (my home state) and open up on my girls (Uconn women's team) I became an avid UT enemy. This does not do well for me here, but I fight the fight any time any where. I simply think my opinion is more important than theirs. At least I can spell university.
Yesterday I stood on a chair a declared myself the number one enemy of the big orange T, and all things associated with it. I am now going to buy an orange T and get a red circle with a line throught it to place over it.
Congratulations to the Colts, but if any one really thinks Peyton was the MVP of that game, they missed the times when the defense was out there. He got it because he's the league's #1 draw. Honestly, I think there were better choices.
Bears fans don't worry, there will be great things to come from there.
I myself am a Jacksonville Jaguar fan, the inconstent Jaguars/ can't beat the TEXANS? Jaguars/Can stomp holes in tougher teams but lose to the Titans? Jaguars.
Meanwhile Uconn women lost to Tennessee and I hear it all day long !!!

Peyton won MVP too, oh my, he did UT proud. By the way, you need to understand Tennessee fansloyality is beyond measure. You should have never of stood up and told them you were from Conn. Even being from Connthey must ofthought youhad been dropped on your head as a child to do that in a room full of Tennessee fams. I am surprised they didn't tar and featheryou and run you out of town on a rail.

By the way, doesUConn have any manly sports or do they just havefield hockey, rowing, rugby, and lacrosseteams?
UConn most popularstudents names areBuffy and Maxwell. How precious is that? They don't go to Starbucks but to AuntMillie's Teahouse for tea and crumplets at 2:00 pm.
Do you know how you can tell someone attended UConn? There the guys with sweathers tied around their neck and wear deck shoes with no socks.
Actually back to the MVP thing. I had CBS on from 11a to the demise of the bears. The thing that annoyed me me most. Not that the Bears lost, but the last hyped before the game . They had already voted Manning the MVP of superbowl 41. I watched all , but 1 quarter I ( had to gone on a E job) . The three quarters I saw there were other deserving. Defence forcing turn overs so Manning could get the ball. All in all the Colts played 4 quarters of football. The bears let up mid second quarter and never could rebound. As the old saying goes if your oponent is on the ground keep kicking him until the end of the game or he says I Quit. My passion isn't Football, It's Baseball. So I don't get fired up till April.
