Hello, I am a E-5 going to Corps School later this year. I will be a Geo- Bachelor. What can expect for BEQ living conditions and how are Fleet Ret. treated by the staff there? Thank You.

I second your question !! :Pas I have a conversion package in and hope to be in your shoes soon: reporting for A-school.

SO.... how ARE fleet returnees treated there? (I'll also be a geo-bachelor).

Your treated like a student in a student status, no difference other then in the phase in liberty you will be on. It is Strict living compared to where you are coming from, plus leave your other "RATE" at the gate when checking in, You are about to embark with a new family, and you won't understand HM's until you get here..

Hope this helps..

Since you are a fleet returnee, you will have extra responsibilites, as in being incharge of musters and so on. Possibly leading field days, making the watch bills and so on. The instructors will be less likely to cut you a break if you start getting yourself into things that you shouldn't so keep your nose clean. Plus, the barracks there can be decent or horrible. There are 2 male BEQs, one where you have one roommate and nice furniture, the 2 of you share a head with the room next door, and the other BEQ has atleast 4 to a room, and one head per floor. The female BEQ is nice, (not that I know because I am a male), but they have a little kitchenette type thing in each room. Good luck with that. Have a good time, and pick the brains of the instructors and you will go far.
