SORRY, I know it has been some time since I offered anything for you to criticize, but I have been busy. No it's not the season or holidays or anything like that. I have been working like a dog to get my newest e-book on the market.

As you know, I fancy myself a writer. Like I said before, I have no particular training or literary skills to prove that I can write, but I write just the same. My latest effort has occupied me for most of the last six months. It is a “how-to” manual for those who think Mexico might be the place for their retirement. RETIRE TO MEXICO-20 Question You Need To Answer takes the reader on a soul searching and fact finding journey in the popular “20 Questions” format.

Question #1 asks the reader to question his motives for choosing Mexico as a retirement destination and Question #20 asks “OK I'm here, now what do I do?”. I between the reader will learn about visas, permits, packing, living costs, medical issues, insurance, and much more.

I have included a special section for Vets that addresses benefits available for those of us living abroad.

My wife Carolyn and I made the decision to live in Mexico a couple of years ago and finally made the change in 2007. I have sprinkled some personal anecdotes about our experience, including some of the mistakes we made, throughout the e-book. Without sounding like a cliché, we have never looked back. Mexico is beautiful, the costs are half those in the states, and the climate, well, I'm writing this on December 12th and it is 78 degrees outside with a nice breeze and not a cloud in the sky. Look outside your window and compare.

If you, or anyone you know, is approaching retirement and are considering Mexico as an option, I encourage you to get the facts. Of course, I would love it if you purchased my e-book. You can contact me directly at bobsbooks@mainemanabroad.com (bobsbooks@mainemanabroad.com) or go directly to the website http://bobsbooks.books.officelive.com (http://bobsbooks.books.officelive.com/) where you can get more information.

I would love to continue writing, but I have to go to the market to get a fresh papaya to eat at the beach tomorrow. Bye for now.:fish:

Thanks Tamulipasteacher for letting us put out the info on your book!

I am not moving to Mexico, (Love my Bears in Chicago to Much) but I know there are folks out there who might be contemplating this especially with our economy..
