wife going to school?

Hello, I'm in the DEP program right nit, I ship the first week of April. I have a question that I would normally ask my recruiter, but his wife just gave birth to their second baby and he is on leave and I don't want to disturb him. Anyway, here is my question. My wife would like to takes some college classes after we get stationed somewhere, is there any programs available for the navy to help out with her tuition? If so, will that cut into my college benefits later on? Thank you very much in advance.

Wish I could tell you different but nope the Navy does not help out unless your both stationed overseas, which btw you cannot do on your first tour.

I know we just got done paying many thousand $$$ to get my wife's nursing degree.

Always go the Financial Aid route, if she gets her FASFA number now after taxes and if you didn't make much, you will be suprised how much she does "NOT" have to pay.
