I was born in Romania, and everyone there gets a TB vaccine when they're kids, including me. When I had a skin test done five years ago before I went to college, it came up positive because of this vaccine. I don't think this was a question on the MEPS sheet, otherwise I would have told them about it. I know they do a skin test at bootcamp, I was just wondering if I get a positive reading if I'll run into any problems.

Not sure how you would answer question 14a. Anybody else have any advice?

The only question on that sheet pertaining to TB is 10a, asking if I ever had the disease, which I haven't. There is nothing on there about a PPD (the skin test) or TB vaccines.

It isn't a problem. They will test you for PPD conversion in bootcamp and if you test positive, they will most likely put you on a course of meds for a few months and then monitor you every year. They will treat you like any other PPD convertor. Your situation is pretty common so it won't be the first time they have seen it. It will not present any problems for you.
