This has become a pending mission for the Patriot Guard Riders. Also, a Gunnery Sgt killed in the same action (Terry Elliot), is also a pending mission for us in PGR here in west TN.

Ohio PGR will be doing the mission for Conte, and the combined efforts of MS and TN will render honors to GYSGT Elliot.

Pending missions are those funerals where the family through the CACO has been notified and asked for permission to attend the services. It is not a confirmed mission until the family sends us a request to attend.

Many former and retired Marines in west TN and north MS, depending on the day of the week we could have as many as 150 riders for GYSGT Elliots mission.

The west TN PGR sends condolences to the Conte family as we await word on our invite to honor a man who died alongside him.

HN Conte was in my boot camp Division 04143 back in Feb 04. He was also in my NHCS class 04145. Damn i'm going to miss him. Good times had by all. Conte you stand relieved...we have the watch. I notified as many people as I could from our boot division, lots of numbers changed. He was a great guy and one hell of a sailor. Goofy as all hell but I guess thats why we got along. Love ya bro...god bless.
