Hey guys. I have a rather simple one for you. Well, I think simple. Anyhow, you all know that DEPpers should know their Chain of Command by the time that they ship out for RTC. The only problem is, everywhere I look there seems to be a different Chain of Command as it relates to the recruit. For instance, The Bluejacket's Manual and my PQS book both have a different list. One will have one that the other doesn't. One I think has 15 on it, the other has 18. Not only that, but I've been having trouble hunting the names down. For instance, does anybody know who the current CNET is? Every time I try to look it up, I end up on the computer tech website, :nah:

So, can someone help me hunt down the PROPER Chain of Command as it relates to the recruit with a list of names of people occupying those positoins? (Preferably the names of those who wil lhold the spot in March so Obama instead of Dubbya would be nice :not:)

Well Chief, not much in terms of information but that was definitely a chuckle.

What I am trying to get to you is your COC will be different due to different Command Structures..

The Marines have a different COC then does the Navy, then it is broken down by local uint as well as Superior Chain of command.

It changes on each transfer to a different unit.

The only ones that will stay the same are..
SECNAV--and above..

Good Luck..

Yeah I understand that Chief. But it is the same much further down the ladder for those at RTC which is what I needed. Which would be

-CNET
-Commander NTC
-CO RTC
-XO RTC
-Director of Training

I know the ones above CNET and those below the Director of training will vary with the ship I get put in. Does anybody know the above?

No, you will find that out when you get there..

These are things that change due to rotations etc.. so what one person had say last year might be different this year..

Good Luck!

when in doubt, google out. I simply typed RTC great lakes official and got the .mil site where I clicked on command leadership at the bottom.

The internet makes these questions so easy....

As many times as I have visited the RTC website, I never saw the link at the bottom of the page. Thanks Poolzer, I even learned something today. Although, as previously pointed out, these positions can and do change due to rotations.
