Check out the website for MPRI (http://mpri.com/index.html). They have many stateside and deployed job opportunities for former military. I understand they have a preference for former military.

I also understand they, sometimes, waive the military rank requirements stated on the "Job Details" based upon experiences and certifications.

I gotta tell ya.. @ MPRI in Kabul, Afghanistan there is a posted need that I looked at as of yesterday 2/27/09 for Ultrasound techs, Radiology, EMT and Medical Lab. these jobs are TRAINING jobs with the Afghan National Security Force. Myself, I teach Commando Medics TCCC I can't speak for the starting pay for those but mine is double of my previous employers of $70k. Get in there, register, fill out the IIF carefully, and make sure you are very ready to deploy. My recruiter took around 3 weeks to get back to me with an offer but they were ready to send me in two. Been here since 14DEC08 and I love it. :panda:
