Signing bonus

I'm active duty and I'm getting a signing bonus for extending my contract to 6 years. I'm suppose to get 20% after boot camp and the rest after completion of school. I just wanted to know if anyone else had this same deal, and when did you get the first part of your bonus? I'm still waiting on it, I checked todays paycheck and its not on it.

I have a buddy of mine same situation as yours went to PSD got his 20% within a week.

newnavydudeenavy, be careful of this.. Don't go spend it all.. I would wait until your "DONE" with Corps School..

Why??

Well if for any reason your not able to complete NHCS, The Navy will "RE-COUP" all monies paid to you...

I am not saying this will happen to you.. but it did happen to a fair amount of folks who we had to D/E out of NHCS, and trust me when I say, when Big Navy wants their money back.. they get it..:horse:
