I received my orders today and all I have to say is that military bearing does pay off. I got 1 of 4 slots for Pendleton and I happend to be the first one to get it because I was squared away :)

Also PSI time will be in CAMP P with your unit you will be attached to..

I just secured 12, on a whim and barely, today so it looks like my grad date will be March 2nd.

I wanted division but MLG was only available for Pendleton and I had my hopes set on Pendleton so it ended up being a nice compromise =D

When I was with FSSG, Group HM's were deploying more than Division Corpsmen. That was before 2003 though. I was a Chief/Senior Chief IDC and got some good ops. One was an embassy protection trip in Africa with 8th Marines. Their Chief "couldn't go" for some reason. Another time I went on Counter Narcotics Operations with a 3 letter agency. Very Cool. Sometimes being a support unit to a support unit sucks but there are good opportunities to be had.

there are only two kind of corpsman there ,shipmate, grunts and everyone else. You should have held out for Division. Lejuene takes some getting used to, believe me, but it grows on you

Chris G I have almost the same orders as you. We are in the same FMSS class and seeing how you last name I assume starts with a G and mine with J we might be in the same company. I was in Pendleton for 4 days, got all my stuff unpacked and they told me to go pack it. The next day I got moved to Port Huenene. About 3 hours north of Pendleton for TAD. I go back to Pendleton on the 1st of May. I'll see you at Field Med.
