Nice addition Chief. I always enjoyed doing sick call and patient care in general, even into my later years in the Navy. I always tried to learn everything I could about diagnosis, treatment, and procedures. When it comes right down to it, the true test of a Corpsman's worth is his/her medical skills. What we do and have done in regards to getting our patients to the next echelon of care is what is written about. Of course, the rest of the story is written about as well. How the Corpsman held off the enemy with one hand while holding the plasma bottle with the other. But the medical skill is what saves lives. Combine that with a hard-charger who can run, hump, jump, and shoot, then you've got the complete package.
