Please make sure DeeDee Andi and 8404 get this message. I just wanted to say thanks to all you guys. When it was 0 degrees in Chicago and I was 3 failures into Corpsman School you guys motivated me to keep hitting those books. Especially you Tony and your wife putting up with my late calls, good luck with your son by the way. I'm shipping out to help the "clean" up process in Iraq Sunday at 0600. Well enough mushy stuff I luv yuh guys and girls you were my online family through out my NAVY career. Thank you Citrus, our phone and home is always open … Corpsman.com never closes! We are more than just another website. It’s very mission and purpose live in our hearts and are very much the essence of who we are. Take care of yourself and your Marines, while on deployment. Always doing the right thing, listening to your Chain of Command and lending a hand to your shipmates! We recently had a young DEPper ask, 'how he could become a better Sailor. I challenge him and everyone to ask, 'how can we become better at making a difference in others'.

Anyone who visits corpsman.com, will find, we answer some of the most difficult of questions and provide straight answers to questions covering a multitude of subjects. Most visitors learn, we also provide:

Weekly Tuesday evening chat sessions, beginning at 2100 EST.
Free email accounts for deployed personnel
Adopt a Doc/Medic care package project, for deployed personnel
Quarterly newsletter
Support to family members and friends of military personnel who are, or soon to be, deployed.

What many do not realize, is this website is not just an online internet community. Our support goes above and beyond the scope of chatting and posting online messages. The support ‘Citrus’ speaks of, was not only about himself. It goes much deeper than that. Often times our support takes place offline, via text messages, late night personal phone calls which encompass long and in insightful conversations or personal visits to the homes or hospitals of those requiring some extra support.

Corpsman.com was there when a supporter experienced severe flood damage to their home back East. We were there when a young fiancée received a disturbing late night broken text message from her deployed spouse to be and needed someone to talk to. We are there and communicate daily with some of our deployed personnel. We were there when a member lost their job unexpectedly and went through a long period of unemployment. We were there for this same person, whose computer died and so desperately needed one to continue with job searches. We were there when a deployed Doc came home in the middle of the night and coordinated a welcome home. We were there when KIA have been returned home from Iraq or Afghanistan to render honors on cold winter nights. We were there to comfort a young wife and 3 small children whose husband was KIA from Iraq in December. We’ve visited the sick and the wounded from Iraq and Afghanistan. We’ve spent time with an Army veteran, who was terminally sick and helped coordinate their burial with his next of kin. We were there when an aging Vietnam (in-country) veteran was seen limping in a store’s parking lot and given a welcome home hug, which brought forth a tearful and emotional moment for both involved. We were there when a member had a baby and we rejoiced together. We were there at 0300 for those worried parents whose only child just shipped off to RTC or was deployed to a war zone and needed immediate help. Most importantly, we are there, on the battlefield, defending the Constitution of the United States and it's interests. We were there, through ALL of you.

How can we do all of the above? It’s simple, as a member of corpsman.com, we take what we do and who we are, with us, into our daily lives! We live by the Navy’s Core values and take them seriously. With the desire to help those in need, we look for opportunities, with an unprecedented Commitment, to just be there and provide that hand up of support, friendship and kindness. With each one, we welcome our members to the family and usher them into a fraternal brotherhood, which transcends all time.

Won’t you join us and help make a collective difference in people’s lives, by becoming more involved and/or visit the sites sponsors?
