Doc Z,
Dennis got out more than a year ago and moved to the midwest. I can't remember if it was Idaho or Utah, but out there abouts. I'll double check when I get home tonight and update this weekend. Contact info would be difficult as he was moving around last time I talked to him, but I'll check and let you know.

You get me a name and a location and I can run searches. I'm a bill collector, if I can't find someone, no one can.

He and his wife split just before the move/retirement. But it was Karla. I could not find his contact info. Will keep looking and update if I find anything.

Guys thanx for the help. I served with him when I was with 1/3 in Hawaii and then he was a chief at Great Lakes my last duty station. He was a good Chief and I wanted to get in touch with him and see what he has been up to. If there were more chief's like him I would have stayed in longer than the 7 I was in for.

There were, you just never ran into them
I worked with Dennis at MCAS for a while and attended the same church. Last I heard, he had moved to Indiana to work. Karla was still attending church and working at the NH here at Lejeune for a while and she is out that way now too.

I'm not bashing chiefs puck trust me. I did have some very good ones that I was around. Sego, Taylor, Jones, and a few others I can't recall their names but their actions spoke for them. I also had some that were in my direct chain of command that motivated me to get out of the Navy. After 7 years in over all I say my experience in the Navy was great. I work at a school now and recommend the Navy to everyone. For me, personally however, I had 2 bad experienced back to back at 2 duty stations with 2 chiefs. IF things were different I would probably still be in today. As is, I took my honorable discharge and pursued my education.

I stayed. I made my twenty. All those that tried to ruffle my feathers lost the day I retired. I owed them nothing, hold no ill will towrds them. In the unlikely event that I should meet any of them, I can now say what I wanted to all along(oh wait I did that then too) with out the ensuing UCMJ fall out.
