I was disappointed with this one...
I do not know about your area, but around here this movie was advertised as a comedy with funny moments from the film filling the trailer/commercial.
This movie is more a drama about teenage angst after high school & just before college. There are several humorous scenes but the movie is not much of a comedy at all. More likely its a semi-bio of a geeky drama student (journalism/poetry) from the late-1980's stumbling through relationships and his last summer at home before heading out on his own....
Its an okay flick but I was in the mood for a comedy and that's how this movie was advertised...
