Hey guys (and gals),

I have a few questions, but all related...

Was just curious as to what are some of the hospitals that would be available or one could expect to be available when the time comes to select where you would like to go?

Are they usually the Large Hospitals only (Bethesda, San Diego) or could smaller Hospitals, VA Hospital, Clinics also be available?

And Finally, I can only think of a few locations, (Bethesda, San Diego, Norfolk, Rhode Island) that have hospitals that might be available to select, where are the other locations? More so the East Coast locations?

Thanks!

D

You can find a list of all Navy Hospitals here - http://navymedicine.med.navy.mil/default.cfm?seltab=command&selmod=A1346DF4-2A5E-780B-4171EFF4AAAB2A97

It also can be sorted by clinics, dental facilities and other navy medical facilities.

Thanks Indy, that was exactly what I was looking for!

So is it possible for someone coming out of Corp School to go to any one of those Medical facilities, large or small? (If Available that is).

Thanks,

D

See the world. Apply for a hospital like Naples, Italy.

I was stationed in Naples when they moved into the hospital they are in now. Now, that was no fun. But it needed a new hospital. The old hospital was an old winery. The top floor usually had no hot water and that was where the newborn nursery was. Babies don't like to have baths in cold water.
