Living at Bethesda

Fiancee picked her orders last week. She picked and received Bethesda Naval Hospital. Was hoping someone could explain to me the living arrangements at Bethesda. Are there barracks or will she live off base? Is there even a base down there? I always here Bethesda Naval Hospital, but never Bethesda Naval Base.
