Well first off hello everyone. I have just finished my sixth test at corps school and picked orders to Naval Medical Center San diego. I still have a little time here but I just wanted to get a heads up on some things i can expect from San Diego. I guess my first question would be, how is the housing there? Will I be in barracks or will I get BAH and be able to get an apartment. Also what will i most likely be doing for my first little bit there and finally what is San diego like? Any help from you guys would be great. Oh and by the way as of this week no FMTB orders are being given out to any classes and West coast and overseas are hard to get unless your on top of your class. But we hear the FMTB might change by the beginning of the new fiscal year. Plus im 4th in my class with a 92 average and i was lucky to get a choice between Okinawa and San Diego (a heads up for all of you guys heading in....Dont screw around here or you will be in BFE!) Again any help from you guys would be awesome thanks.
