No not my hair. The color of the stain my wife brought home to use on the front and back decks. I just spent the morning painting gray and having flashbacks. Wonder if it's too late to add PTSD to my list of VA claims?

Next she'll dig up glow in the dark yellow, then I'm really screwed!!! Somebody make her stop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My head, I can't take the pain.....

I have a US Flag flying right near the steps. There's a ship bell hanging nearby. Alll I need now is a podium, sound powered phones and a guy to stand the watch. Maybe I can train my dog?

:dude: that's gtg. You know, you could just get I life size poster of someone standing the watch with a push button saying "Permission Granted" or even "Permission Denied".

WHERE??? OMG REALLY!!!! Man got to get one of them!!! A cardboard cut out of some sailor in whites (one more in blues for winter) and I would be set.

Already got a life ring, going to paint it orange and stencil it USS MR LEE.

Problem is, my wife says she's the CO , so she'll be the only one dinged aboard.

Even in retirement I get no respect, oh well used to it by now.

Sweepers, Sweepers man your brooms, give the house a clean sweep down fore and aft, sweep all ladder wells, decks and passage ways, now sweepers! Mess gear, dinner for the few!

My wife would kill me if I did that, but It would be so cool...permission to come aboard? Granted you land lubber!


I miss those days haze gray and underway.


Thanks for the memories, hey maybe she will let you put some non-skid on the rungs of the steps...

on that sweeper call, forgot " heave HO and trice up" something like that... I had a top rack, no problem there. loved stepping on the head of the sleepers under me.
