Haven't posted in a while, but I am pretty motivated right now. It is my last year in the Naval Sea Cadet Corps and in 2 days I'm heading out to Ft. Lewis Washington for the NSCC version of FMTB. Hopefully this training will give me some insight on what FMTB will be like! This is a promising training! I'll update everyone when I get home.

Congratulations Trigger;

If you haven't already visited the FMTB East - Camp Lejeune North Carolina (http://www.lejeune.usmc.mil/fmtb/index.shtml) website, there is a ton of information and photos.

8404,
Thanks for the link! The main thing I hope to get out of this training is the deciding factor of Marine Corps or Navy as an HM. I enjoy the medical field but I've never really done a lot of hands on medical work. I'm glad I get to preview it before just signing the contract!

I've been studying the FMST manual for a couple of weeks, we are required to know about half of Block 1 upon arrival. I like learning all of the material and everything but due to lack of training it just feels sort of strange thinking about giving someone an IV or other things like that because you can't tell what the person is feeling...Not sure how to explain it but I'm sure it'll pass after day 1.
