I've been thinking about the "Confidence Chamber" for a while now, if you want to share some info/experiences/thoughts, it'd be nice to hear some...

I'm assuming you're a DEPer and want some more info...
It's honestly not as hideous as some would make it seem.
You'll go into the chamber with your mask on, then you'll be asked to remove it, state your name and division. (For example: Seaman Recruit Swanson, Division 403). Be sure to SOUND OFF!
Your RDCs will be present and possibly laughing at how ridiculous you look with snot running down your face and tears coming out of your eyes. Make sure to catch all of it with your free hand or else you'll have to come back and field day the chamber (without the gas).
I vividly remember my experience even though it's been nearly 4 years. I was in the first line to go. I removed my mask, sounded off (though I was "crying" and snot was all over me) and waited for the rest of my group to sound off so we could exit the chamber. Well, someone at the end of the line freaked out and started screaming she couldn't breathe (obviously she could or she wouldn't have been screaming). So we got a good minute extra of gas before she contained herself and sounded off. Haha. Memories!
The gas chamber in FMTB was worse for sure. The Marines want to "indoctrinate" you into their world. Therefore, if you go to FMTB, extpect more harassment and more gas.

Haha. Yeah, because in FMTB you actually don full MOPP gear. It's fun though. And you get to clear out your sinuses... ;)
