Well,I graduated on the 6th and let me just say this to anyone going to RTC, Go in there knowing that you can graduated you just have to apply yourselves, follow the rules and know when to not talk(that got my division a lot). Don't expect it to be easy but trust me, if you do what is asked of you and study just a bit more than is given to you(10-15 minutes per night in your rack) you will be just fine. Attention to detail is vital even when its just folding clothes and making your bed. DO NOT FALL ASLEEP IN CLASS OR AT LIVE FIRE/SMALL ARMS TRAINER! thats all, other than that stay motivated and don't do stupid things after taps.
Congratulations on your RTC graduation. Same rules apply at NHCS, continue to follow the rules and regulations. Maintain everything you learned at RTC and build upon it going forward.
Best of wishes to you.

Sleep for the first day is minimal,we didnt sleep for 40 hours or so including flight( i cant sleep on planes). Food is decent(the servers and table crew are awesome and treat you great!!!!). We pt'ed every day or other day depending. we would do 5-6 laps around the track as a warm up then do our scheduled stuff. it was hard at first(had the ricky crud) but trust me,you get better and better as you go along. Also ask about running clinics as they help with technique. First day here at NHCS and I am enjoying it. Just remember that at boot camp its only 8 weeks of your life for a career and the pride in being a member of the US Armed Forces. Liberty weekend will prove that to you when you walk around chicago and get handshakes from veterans and such.
