So Im swinging with the wing, in Yuma, Az. Been assigned to MWSS 371. One of the rare corpsman to get the MAW out of corps school. After my first week I see why, the learning curve is ridiculous. I love it, it makes you work hard and pick up things fast. Already been on a training Op.

Doing a lot of studying, everyone has there FMF Pin here, its like a command requirement. That and advancement in March.

Can you do that (EAP) Enlisted Advancement Program online or is it a class you have to attend..

I am not sure about the answer to your question so I will let one of the senior members deal with it, however;

When you get a chance, check out the Cracker barrel restaurant in town. Their southern cooking is awesome and its fairly cheap. I cooked for them in Montgomery when I was in AL. last year.

Hey King, good to see you again, it's been a while...

The Enlisted Advancement Program is a class you have to attend, it's usually held at one of the major hospitals and some commands allow folks to attend using training money, but most of the time, the Sailor ends up covering the costs. Unfortunately, there is no online or distance learning equivalent currently - you may want to check and see if NMCSD is doing a course and see if Yuma will let you go no-cost TAD...Yuma won't pay for you to go more than likely, but being TAD will save you leave time. Never hurts to ask, and you may find it's worth the cost of the drive over there and back...
