Hello there fellow Casevac Corpsman, I did not fly in 2003 , but flew back in 05 with HMM-364/MAG-26. Great times and hell of a experience, this time I will be on the ground I leave this Monday back out there, i might end up getting pulled from my unit anyways to fly again. My old CPO is one of the LCPO'S over there right now and is looking to steal me. Well take care..

If your talking about crazy Ligsay than yeah. Bellamy sounds familiar too. Were you guys sharing the flights with the Witch Doctors at the scalpel and AQ or did you guys pick up the entire mission?

We took turns, CASEVAC was our standby job, mostly just moved people around or whenever s#!t was about to hit the fan

Has anybody out there gone through the Casevac pipeline. What does it consist of now. I didn't get the chance to go through it since my group was the first to actually fly the missions in the beginning of the Iraq war. Anybody know a Chief Najera, HM2 Thomas, HM2 Coslett or HM1 Ayers the are all SAR Corpsman that I flew with. Stay safe

Caprio, whats up bud! Flew with 268, aug 04-feb 05. Lingling is at the avt schoolhouse pushing students and putting up with the senior 8401/09 guys that have to now go thru avt.

I know Jeff Coslett (now HM1), he graduated IDC school last year and has a boat out of Mayport, FL. HM1 Ayers is at a MEPS station I think now. HM2 Thomas is a detective now down in Key West (got out last year).

CASEVAC pipeline has been well established on both coasts now, and will continue to evolve as will our (8401) pipeline.
