If I were to do NCS what would you say the odds of getting stop lossed are?

All depends.. They have only done it twice in my 23 years on A/D.. Does not happen very often, and really the NCS program is there more to staff the Reserves then the Active Duty. It would shoot the Reserves in the foot to stop loss you. Hell they can just activate you as soon as you turn Reserve!

I'm asking because of the whole med school thing. If I do standard enlistment I will get out at 26, which isnt that old to start med school. I figure with the full GI Bill and the money I would save I could pay for med school by myself and not have to owe the military the 10 or so years. My concern is that if I get stop lossed then I will be in for 4 years as opposed to 5 but get much fewer educational benefits.
