Exclamation Class Rankings in Corps School

So I leave for RTC very soon, after that, I'll go to A school, and I'm stoaked! Quick question though... Are class rankings made known to students? Will I know my personal ranking? If so, how often are the rankings updated?

Thanks

Class ranking used to be updated after every test. The test results were posted by highest to lowest score with your total average behind the test score. I'm not sure how it is done now.

It is directly up to the instructors....and/or your EPO.

I was an EPO so i had access to everyones' GPA and class ranking.

There will also be a paper that is given to the EPOs after every test that shows everything i just listed.

Just make sure to befriend your EPO and they will gladly tell you where you stand.

Also depending on your instructors...they might just make announcements of where everyone falls...but it will be by the last 4 of your social.

My brother class had no idea of their GPA's. In fact my buddy didn't even realize he was in the running for Valedictorian until almost through with tests. In my class, my instructor posted the scores on the computer after every test. In short - Up to your instructor.

Cool Personal Responsibility & Initiative.

The class should also be able to request for the class standing to be posted, announced in class, or made available through the EPO, with updates after each test. Regardless if the instructor spoon feeds the class or not, the student may request to be informed of his grade and class ranking. A polite informal request is usually all that is needed, but a formal request or quick visit to the office will get it done to. In short it is up to the individual student to track his own performance.

And doesn't the CO still publicly post an Honor Roll of the top performing students in the school?

Never heard that one while I was there Chief. If every person in a class passed a specific test or if someone got 100& then they announced it over the 1MC, about it.
