Greetings all...

Hello! After too much research I've finally made an appointment with my local recruiter...

At 17 all I wanted was a Marine Corps enlistment, but now, after graduating from Florida State, all I want is to help maintain their health and safety.

In other words I wanna go green side. It'll be a long road, but at least I'm finally heading in the right direction. This community has been extremely helpful with organizing information and answering questions. I'm happy to finally register.

Always dubious of expectations, I only anticipate more questions.

Thanks everyone!

You graduated from FL State with a Bachelors?

Sir, if so why not get a commission and help take care of everyone?? Or try to get into PA School or Nursing School?

Just wondering..

Officer/Enlisted

That's a good point Chief. I've studied commissioning paths up and down. Understand there are enlisted commissioning programs down the road if I feel the itch.

Are college grad corpsman an unusual find?

Not necessarily an unusual situation for enlisted college grads, but they are a small community. If you do decide to go enlisted, then definitely take advantage of tuition assistance for a higher degree...

His degree would be to his advantage at NHCS since he could be an EPO or help his shipmates with schooling during boot.
