Thats right, it’s time to try out the Monster Machine.

I have a new computer, this will be the first time broadcasting with it on Thursday night @ 2130 EST.  Should be fun times!

HM2(FMF) Xin Qi

AOTC #89 is final.

8404, myself and 3 callers eulogized HM2 Qi on his passing.

I would like to thank HM1 Gutierrez, Doc-Pardue, and HMC Kloka for calling in to help us with the show.

It is always a sad affair when we lose a shipmate.

But let’s not lose sight that we have many other men and women in harms way right now who need our support.

We will be back on Thursday night for AOTC #90.

I have pre-taped a memorial track for HM2 Qi for tonight, it will play first.

I know that if I were to go in the line of duty I would want then but then I would want all the Doc’s to get back to business after the tribute.  We salute HM2, but a job still has to be done to support all of you who are still out there doing the job.

So we will.

I’m not sure if 8404 will or will not be on tonight, but I will.

2010 a New Decade

We’re Back!

8404 and myself will host 2010’s first AOTC this Thursday Night at 8:30 Central Standard Time.

We might be trying USTREAM Vs. STICKAM, so please stay tuned.  I am trying to find which production handles our load on video etc.

I would like to use USTREAM in that you can ask poll’s during the netcast etc, but last time we had some problems with it.

Keep in touch tomorrow and regardless we will have the links up here Thursday one way or another for you to click to get to the video site.

I would also like to take phone questions as well, I will post the “DOC-LINE” later tonight, you can call it and leave a question message that will be played during the show.

If you would have told me this in 2007 I would have laughed you right out of my office.   I thought I knew everything about being a Dad, and adjusting to family life 24/7..

I was wrong.

Everytime I think I have a grip on my life and what is going on with my family, another School Pizza Day, Boy Scouts, Swim Team, Girl Scouts, Birthday Party, Holiday Season, College Exams, College Papers, College Finals, get thrown my way.

“I HONEST TO GOD DON’T KNOW HOW KAREN DID IT!”.

Whaa???

You see, I was wrapped up in the Navy and Corpsman.com during this time, and yet she did all that, pretty much on her own.  I have all the above and she helps and I still feel like I am getting killed.  I don’t know which way is up or down.

AND I LOVE IT!!

I am hoping that this year I do get a handle on my life and the day to day happenings.

My resolution is to try to make the time to be more timely on posts here on Corpsman.com.

(You can see how that went, I am wishing you Happy New Years on January 6th.!!)

I plan on spending tomorrow Afternoon and Evening getting caught up on posts here on Corpsman.com.

We wanted to try to do a Netcast on Thursday night, but I will be putting that off until this weekend or Monday Night.  I really cannot hammer out a exact time as I am trying to get caught up with all things “DOC” right now as well and want to produce a great show.

Well…

Debunked..

Thanks to some generous users, they have stuck a cork in the sinking ship!

This is only temporary folks, and it was decided tonight on our show by “YOU” the users, that we will be coming up with a way for you all to contribute to the site to help us with costs.

I want to thank those who did donate tonight. I would name them, but I want to clear it with them prior to doing so.

The forums have been paid for.

This does not mean Corpsman.com is out of the woods, but we are alive for right now.

and try to find out any information you can about receiving “IMMUNIZATIONS” at the clinic.  I.e what’s the process to get a flu shot, or the H1N1 shot.

I am trying to find out for my family but also for Dominamedicus (A user in our forums) who is about to leave to go to boot and wants to know if she should get the shot before reporting or receive it at RTC.

What you find is a complete utter lack of organization.  It honostly looks like it was made by “GEOCITIES”.

A side note, I used to be on staff at NHCLGL back when it was still a hospital.  I knew the fine folks who worked in the IT department.  They are understaffed and overworked. So I don’t necessarily blame them.  I would bet $10.00 a MSC Officer okay’ed this design.  Someone who doesn’t understand how to design a site and how folks will use it.

This has gotten under my craw for years.  From having someone run a IT department who was initially hired by the Navy to run a “PROJECTOR” but has worked his way up to the IT Dept head, who woudn’t know a piece of code it it were to hit him in the head.
