I am extremly interested in the Navy Hospital Corpsman postition! I read that there are is a requirement about about no drug abuse other than recreational marajuana use. I have a possession charge for a marajuana “joint” in my car during a traffic violation occuring over 12 years ago. Will this hinder my ability to join the navy in this capacity? This is my only occurance of usage and have never touched the substance after the violation. Please send me some good new and perhaps the mandate or notation of the stipulation. Something I can show someone!

What is the minimum score on the ASVAB that is required to be a corpsman?
Will the Medical training in the service suffice as required education for a civilian medical career?

On July 11, 2009 I purchased a vehicle from what I thought a good soldier. I payed him cash in and recived vehicle along with a document that was notorized stating I would receive the title on the 20th day after purchase. Soldiers name is Koa Jeremy Pickard. Now I am stuck with vehicle that has about 4 – 5 thousand dollars of repairs, no registration, no title, no insurance. What happened to honesty and trust. I left many messages on his phone and he has not returned any of them. I noticed that he qualifies for a promotion on September 1, 2009. I don't think he deserves it especially if he can't be trusted! He is suppose to be in the 45th Rear Detachment, ACO 45th STB. I don't know what that means. The number I have is 389-8078. Truely I believe that since he did not hold up his end, we should get our money back and I give him back the car, or he gives us back enough to fix the car. Please someone help! This is my hard earned money and now I feel like a fool to have trusted this unworthey person.

I use to be a corpsman, and I am having a MAJOR brainfart as to medication! My 9 year old 70 lb daughter severly bruised her ribs yesterday and I was wondering what I could give her to help her sleep? Some have suggestioned Tylenol PM, but I think that's too much for her. If anyone has any suggestions I'd love to hear them! Thanks everyone!
