Recently we had a brouhaha with a certain user who thought I should not ask for donations to help offset the cost of the site.

While he went about it like a rampaging rhino in a china shop, I did understand what he was saying and have thought long and hard about it. (People who know me best know I think about things for a while before acting on something.) The advertising window isn’t there like it used to be with Yahoo (Closed shop on us in April), and honestly I don’t want to clutter up our site with crap ads from Google.

What I can do is offer you the users of Corpsman.com a unique opportunity.

Here’s your chance to help keep this thing going & growing. I’m looking for parents, business’s, & all who have interest in becoming a group sponsor.

For $40 a month you will have the 528 x 90 banner in the group of your choosing “first come, first served” Kind of like a football program.

I will also create a static web page so when someone clicks on your ad it will direct to that page with more information about your interests.

You can have your child’s picture, local business, or whatever you like on your banner.

Also, remember once we do have advertisers & sponsors please support them for they will be the ones paying to keep this site going.

Here is how this will break down as I have to create both the banner and the page. The User pays 40.00 through our Paypal “Donate” button by the 15th of a month.

I will contact you ASAP to get the info you want to advertise or shout out. From the 15th though the first I will use this time to create your banner and create your web page.

(I will be waiving the 15^th of the month requirement for the 1^st of August ads, I can crank them out for you ASAP!).

Both will be displayed for 1 calendar month (1st through the end of the month).  They will rotate with any orders we receive for that month, I.e. if I get 1 order, I display the one add full time, if I get 2 they rotate and so on.

I will also send you the code (HTML) of the page and banner created so you can have for yourself later on.

So the Key Dates to remember are orders have to be in by the 15th giving me time to create the banners and the webpage’s.

(REMEMBER: I am waving the 15^th deadline for this month!!)

• You can advertise anything, Home businesses, Books, Group gatherings etc.

• You will also have final say on the ad that will be displayed.
