I have offered my opinion on advancement’s and studying for the last 4 years. I have also now offered my opinion FTS advancement etc.
I am offering those of differing views a chance to view them without feeling attacked etc.
I would like to start a Debate on this subject.
So I am offering a place to do so.
Tonight @ 2100 EST in our Scuttlebutt forums, Come on by to discuss your views. You will not be attacked etc, but we will fill you with facts and how myself and other HMC’s, and HM1’s etc have made rate.

1. FORCM MARTINEZ’ NAVY BIRTHDAY MESSAGE
On October 13, 2008, we will pause to celebrate the birth of our Navy. It has been 233 years since the Continental Congress first authorized the outfitting of armed vessels with orders to intercept British supply ships during America’s Revolutionary War. From what started out as a modest Continental Navy, we have grown to become the most powerful seapower the world has ever known.
Today, as we enter our seventh year of defending freedom and liberty in the Global War on Terrorism, we find Sailors serving proudly not only at sea in the Persian Gulf, but also on the ground and in the air above Iraq, Afghanistan, the Horn of Africa and countless other places around the globe.
For over 200 years, Sailors have answered the call of our Nation without hesitation and as we remember those who went before us, we take time to honor those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice so that we may experience the freedoms we enjoy today.
I am proud to be a Sailor and I am proud to be your Force Master Chief. Happy Birthday!

A few things to you all!!,
1st. Please get your submissions to DeeDee @ editor@corpsman.com, If you would like to submit a article for the Scuttlebutt Monthly Newsletter. Remember the size of the newsletter is dependent upon stories submitted by you, as our entire newsletter is user driven.
2nd, our Attack of Da-Chief Show will be on Tuesday Night this week vice Wednesday. I have a meeting to attend to on Wednesday night , so I have re-sched’ed to Tuesday night @ 2200 EST, on our Talkshoe channel. (http://www.talkshoe.com/talkshoe/web/talkCast.jsp?masterId=41837&cmd=tc) to call into our show while we are broadcasting, we will take any questions you might have.
3rd, our Regular Chat in our Scuttlebutt forums will be going down still Tuesday night 2100-2300 EST. You can actually be in both places when we are broadcasting. Computers are great!I would like to apologize for not getting the FORCE Master Chief news up last week, I have been spending all my time fighting a SPAM attack the whole week. We think we have fixed the problem tonight (Fingers crossed). I will get out last week’s tomorrow as well as this week as too.

Day 3 Colors, Colors everywhere..

We received some feedback today from 8404 about our colors. He mentioned that “ORANGE” makes the place look like Halloween. (I myself love the spooky holiday, but I digress.)
The Color scheme that we are using now is a original creation by Crazycajun. I myself tend to like it and I am sure he does as well, but we are always open to feedback. Are the colors to dark? Do you like what we have now?
How about entering the conversation in the forums, the Corpsman.com Suggestions area. Drop us a line in there so we can all discuss it.
I want you to know that we read each and every suggestion. Please understand that does not mean we will go changing things willy nilly either. Heck we might even keep what we have. But that is not to say we don’t listen and weigh each suggestion, because we do.
Other than that, I am creating March’s podcast this afternoon. I apologize for the lateness but Life had me in a suplex and was about to throw me from the top rope. All is better now, I hear the sump pump humming under our house as we are getting pummeled with “RAIN” (Yeah!), and not snow. The family room is done, both bathrooms are done as well as my daughters new room, and the laundry room. A word of advice, if you can avoid any and I mean “ANY” major construction projects in the winter when you have kids.. do so..
That’s it for now, keep checking back for the updates. Pretty soon, our regular contributors will be taking over their area and making it their own. I will be letting you all know who and what the areas are probably next week.
