Looking for a “FOIL”

Spring Colds, I hate em. I am been stricken with one for the last 4 days.

Yeah I was a Vet of 24 Years. I have served as a Doc with the Marines, 2 Navy Squadrons and many other billets..

But a cold makes me a boob…

Anyways, heres to hoping I feel better tomorrow.

On to business. I am looking for a co-host for a weekly show with me for Corpsman.com. The Details:

Show will be produced weekly.
You must have a “SKYPE” account
You must be a Vet/ Doc of the Navy, Army, Coast Guard, or Air Force.
If your a Vet, you must have had a Honorable Discharge.
Must have done at least 2 operational deployments
Have a strong desire to help your fellow Doc’s.

If your interested, please do the following, you have to follow the instructions to the “T”.

Send me a Email to include:
Name, Age, When you served, What Service, Discharge Status, A 60 second Digital recording (.mp3 or .wav) telling me about yourself and why you want to be a part of this project.
Why am I asking / Looking for someone? While I have done 18 shows now by myself, the show would flow a lot better with a partner online.

There is no money in this. You would be doing this just for knowing your putting out info to your fellow Doc’s.

Day 4 Happy Birthday Navy Chiefs, Recall to Active Duty, and a new Podcast/Netcast.

Happy Birthday Brothers and Sisters, Navy Chiefs far and wide!! 115 years strong.. Uhhh– Rah!  Keep up the good work and remember your job is to take care of your junior personnel, not yourself.  If your a Butt-Snorkler (I.e if your Ears Valsalva when your Divo Farts.. your a Butt Snorkler because your nose is so far up their rectum..) Please get out and let someone take your billet that will do the job!

If you haven’t figured it out, Today is April 1st, I am not being recalled to Active Duty.  I got a few folks though.. Too funny…

We also produced a podcast / netcast today, you can listen to it on the talkshoe application on our site.  All of our podcasts are hosted there.

Day 3 Colors, Colors everywhere..

 

We received some feedback today from 8404 about our colors.  He mentioned that “ORANGE” makes the place look like Halloween.  (I myself love the spooky holiday, but I digress.) 

 The Color scheme that we are using now is a original creation by Crazycajun.  I myself tend to like it and I am sure he does as well, but we are always open to feedback.  Are the colors to dark?  Do you like what we have now?

 How about entering the conversation in the forums, the Corpsman.com Suggestions area.  Drop us a line in there so we can all discuss it.

I want you to know that we read each and every suggestion.  Please understand that does not mean we will go changing things willy nilly either.  Heck we might even keep what we have.  But that is not to say we don’t listen and weigh each suggestion, because we do.

Other than that, I am creating March’s podcast this afternoon.  I apologize for the lateness but Life had me in a suplex and was about to throw me from the top rope.   All is better now, I hear the sump pump humming under our house as we are getting pummeled with “RAIN” (Yeah!), and not snow.  The family room is done, both bathrooms are done as well as my daughters new room, and the laundry room.  A word of advice, if you can avoid any and I mean “ANY” major construction projects in the winter when you have kids.. do so..
